– Hey loves, how’s it going?
0:18
It’s Ann.
0:19
Welcome back to my channel.
0:21
We are going to do some bag packing and organizing.
0:25
I just realized that looking through of my playlist of stuff
0:29
that I really enjoy making travel videos.
0:33
I love travel videos.
0:34
I think it just makes me look forward to going somewhere
0:37
and also organizing.
0:39
I feel like every time I go on a trip,
0:41
my packing has gotten better
0:42
so you guys are definitely going to find this video helpful.
0:45
And if you want to share anything with me
0:47
or anybody else watching,
0:49
make sure to leave a comment or leave your suggestions
0:52
on the bottom of this video.
0:54
So let’s get started.
0:55
First, I want to show you the organizers I use
0:57
that help me hold all my essentials.
1:00
I will make sure to add links
1:01
of where I bought all these items from below this video.
1:04
To hold all my clothing,
1:06
I found these cubes in three different sizes.
1:09
The set also comes with a shoe bag,
1:11
an all-purpose bag to hold your essentials,
1:14
a laundry bag for your clothing and undergarments,
1:17
and lastly, a little accessory bag.
1:20
I bought two extra waterproof shoe bags,
1:23
a new toiletry bag, and lastly, a makeup pouch.
1:27
You’ll be so surprised how much this can hold.
1:31
Alright, so it’s time to pack.
1:32
I like to start with the bottoms
1:34
because they’re typically more bulky.
1:37
So I often like to also mix and match a lot
1:40
and when I select my pieces,
1:42
I make sure that they’re versatile in design.
1:45
For casual outfits, I’m packing a pair of relaxed jeans,
1:49
a flowy skirt for when I’m feeling whimsical,
1:53
a tailored pants for those put-together days,
1:56
leggings for comfort, and shorts on hot days.
2:02
Having a hoodie is a must for me
2:04
just in case I feel chilly, indoors or outdoors.
2:08
It’s always good to pack something cozy just in case.
2:12
When it comes to packing,
2:12
I like to start with the heavier pieces
2:15
and then I go in with the lighter pieces
2:17
that are easy to squeeze between small spaces.
2:21
For this second clothing bag,
2:23
we’re going to pack a dress, a romper,
2:27
two tank tops, and four T-shirts.
2:31
If you want to maximize your outfit options
2:33
without over packing, choose lighter weight clothing
2:36
that can easily roll up.
2:38
Also, select versatile colors and prints
2:40
that you can coordinate with your bottoms.
2:43
It’s amazing how many outfit options I can pack
2:46
into these two cubes.
2:48
After I roll everything, I’m now going to put it into my bag
2:52
and I’m putting the romper in as the last item
2:54
because it’s a weird shape.
2:57
A feature that I really love about these bags
2:59
is that they come with buckles
3:00
to prevent your clothes from unraveling.
3:03
Moving on to bag number three,
3:05
this is where I store my sleeping clothes,
3:08
underwear, socks, and swimsuit.
3:11
All the items then I’m showing you
3:12
are just the basic general items that you can bring with you
3:16
but of course, you can improvise and pack other things
3:19
depending on your trip.
3:21
For instance, if you’re traveling during the winter time,
3:23
you can pack an extra sweater instead of a swimsuit.
3:27
Step four for packing essentials are shoes.
3:30
Depending on where you will be going
3:32
and what you will be doing, think about the shoes
3:34
that you want to bring with you.
3:36
Do you want to bring hiking boots?
3:38
Flats for you to switch into
3:40
if your sneakers feel uncomfortable
3:42
or high heels when you feel like
3:43
you want to dress up for a night out?
3:46
I like to bring a couple of different shoes with me
3:49
just in case my feet swells up while walking.
3:52
I can always switch into another pair.
3:54
Aside from that, having more variety
3:56
can give you more options
3:57
when it comes to mixing and matching your outfits.
4:01
I needed to upgrade to a smaller
4:03
and more compact toiletry bag.
4:05
The last one I had was double the size of this one.
4:09
I ended up packing things that I didn’t really need
4:12
and it just made my bag heavier.
4:15
This bag actually holds a lot more than I thought it could.
4:18
Now I don’t have to scramble looking for things.
4:21
Everything I need, all my essentials are in here.
4:26
Number six on my list of things to pack,
4:28
hair tools and an emergency kit.
4:32
Over on your right, I am packing my curling iron,
4:35
a brush, and also a body brush.
4:37
A couple of other hair products that I am not packing
4:40
with my hair bag is my gel and heat protecting spray
4:43
which I usually store with my other beauty products.
4:46
Over on the left, I’m packing other necessities
4:48
that I will probably need on the trip.
4:50
You should definitely set a bag aside
4:52
for your emergency first aid kit
4:55
or any other necessities you probably will need.
4:58
It drives me crazy whenever I go on a trip
4:59
and I forgot something, then I would have to go
5:02
to different stores and look for these items.
5:05
So this definitely saves money and time.
5:09
Number seven is a combination
5:10
of fashion and power accessories.
5:13
This can be your electronics or whatever it is,
5:16
I like to just keep them together in one compartment.
5:20
The headphones will most likely move into my carry on bag
5:23
but for now, I’m just putting this in here.
5:26
Other items that I’m going to fit into here
5:28
is my hard drive and extension cord.
5:32
I’m really excited about using this new makeup bag.
5:35
It can also be used as a toiletry bag.
5:37
It comes with a smaller zip bag inside
5:40
where you can store small items.
5:43
The way I use this is that I just flip the top down
5:46
and then I place all the bigger, bulkier items
5:49
in the middle.
5:50
After that, I would place my makeup brushes,
5:52
my lip gloss in the inside pocket.
5:55
The reason why I like this bag so much
5:57
is that all your makeup is in one compartment
5:59
and you can place this on top of the table
6:02
where you can see everything you need in front of you.
6:04
To close this up, all you have to do
6:06
is flip the bag up and pull the string.
6:10
Okay, we’re all done.
6:11
Now let’s pack everything together.
6:13
This is a medium sized luggage I am using here.
6:17
I’m going to start with the large and medium cube
6:21
followed by the toiletry bag on the side.
6:25
The smaller cube bag is going on top of the medium,
6:28
and then the laundry bag is going on top of the large cube.
6:32
Over on your left, I’m placing the shoe bags,
6:35
accessory bag, hair bag,
6:40
makeup bag, and then I’m going to buckle
6:43
and zip everything together inside the luggage.
6:46
Alright, so we have about two weeks worth of clothing
6:49
that you can mix and match style into different outfits.
6:53
I’m really happy with this whole new method of packing.
6:55
I feel like it’s going to make my travel so much easier.
6:58
Sometimes, when you have things all over the place,
7:01
it just feels overwhelming.
7:03
So by simplifying your life
7:05
and just packing the essentials you need for a trip
7:08
can really make a huge difference
7:10
to your overall experience.
